Research

Most of our community resources go towards studying those that are identified as "the problems". But what could we learn from those that come from the same environments and find other ways out - not just those that fall in line with towing the mainstream line, but those that break free to chart new paths, carve new territory, identify new opportunities and innovations?

That is the primary interdisciplinary social science interest in Cultural Fusion Art as Philosophy as A/r/tographic research.  Using the metissage methodology suggested by Dr. Pauline Sameshima, the second series of writings related to this work is taking shape.

• the other thought is that depends on the time scale you have in mind, I have a feeling if we can put this into a nice proposal we might be able to submit to multiple research resource to go beyond the current commercially available technologies. One example will be the EU projects like these: http://cordis.europa.eu/ist/ European Union countries but Ron and Neil can be the project front end, we should also be able to find similar bodies within the US. The beauty of this approach is that we already have a lot of technology content, what we need to have is to package this with your business concept etc.
• although there are many existing technologies, but rather than doing a keyword search of matching the needs and resources. (btw, I think there is N powers of M combinations on the needs and resources matching -- for example, you need people's skill but your afford ability may only be able to buy at skill level 6 with time scale of 9 etc.) I feel some AI (artificial intelligence) technologies can be applied for a more transparent real-life experience for the users. your CRM focus gives the Project a right business framework for tangible results that many of the research funders are looking for, I think. The initial project phase can be indeed to build an environment with existing technologies first, then come up with short comings than leverage other more advanced research work that is in progress or not yet commercialized.
• this on the surface looks will take longer to realize, but I have a feeling this might actually be a shorter route to have some exceptional platform developed, as usually the funding for this type of projects are in million dollar range, you can do a lot with those Business:Money when we already have some building blocks....

Just some wild thoughts from me, and want to give you these alternatives to think about. Taking this as a research project might be the most "relaxing" and enjoyable way of realizing a very soulful CF concept, compared to a fast pace commercial route which may require lots of upfront investment and the development will be very much limited to what we have today, i.e. the e-learning, online CRM experience and media

integration etc.
