- "I have suffered so much to learn one ironic fact, that suffering is not necessary." - Andy Skadberg

His favorite quote from someone else: "Follow your bliss." --Joseph Campbell

He has experience with many surveys he was involved with at the state level at Texas A&M. He has some very novel ideas about how to collect more useful data in simple ways. The Texas Big Bend study used palm pilots to capture on-site intercept interviews and we compared mail to online. Most people chose online (all ages), and we got 72% to mail and over %80 response rate to online, by providing an incentive. Cultural Fusion will take this even further by integrating virtual reality and nontraditional destinations and connecting the incentive program to a broader strategy that expands benefits.

Andy's ex-wife's research is very powerful and leading-edge. It examined people's "Flow" experience in an online environment. It has become a seminal work because many people are referencing it.

His work has explored the non-quantitative (qualitative) measures that needed to be considered. However, we also think that Yongxia`s research model did provide a very powerful blending of Flow theory and structural equation modeling, a robust quantitative approach.

Here is one of the articles that she produced.

Part of what Andy (Dr. Skadberg) brings to Cultural Fusion is his work with thetexbox kiosks which were put in Texas rest areas, soon coming to others.

Here is the news clip from a San Antonio news station when we launched the Road Connect Wireless project in the Medina county rest area -
