A father is the apparently opposite of a mother.
Father and mother are an idea, something you can feel within the attention space.
A father, again, can be felt as a Source:Convergence between his father and his mother.
In the inner world of attention, it is thus possible to speak with previous generations.
And ofcourse, by the same logic, is it possible to speak with future generations of which you are the father.
